I take what I can get. :) Kids are such an incredible treasure. I just wish fatigue didn't get in the way of enjoying them. I hate it when I see parents that are all wiped out and cranky at the park with their kids. I wonder how I look. I didn't even take LB to the park today. I've been having tummy troubles and decided to stick close to home today to avoid any unpleasantness. Although, I do have to leave in 1 1/2 hours to pick up D from the airport. He didn't sleep at all last night and his flight was three flights, he left Louisiana somewhere and then switched planes in Colorado and Las Vegas. But he's almost here.
I had a huge rant last night. Sigh. Poor Tomek. Looking forward to a relaxing chat in bed before sleep and the wife goes off waaa waaa waa waaa WAAAA. :( I stink sometimes.

Oh! How sweet!!! I swear I live for Lila babbling to me - even if she's yelling at me - just to get her to say "Mama!" (even if she has no true idea what it is that she's saying...)
You're a very good mother - fretting over not taking her to the park on one afternoon. My kids are lucky if we leave the yard without their dad around to help. Today I sent my son out on the deck to draw with chalk, while I stayed on the other side of the screen door with Lila. Ten minutes later, I realized he had been drawing all over the house itself.
*sigh*

Yes, it sucks, but like I tell D, would he rather me hold it in and blow up out of the blue, or get it out of my system and go back to sleep? The problem is he always says "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" when all I really want him to do is just listen, give me a hug, and say everything will work out.

I tell my wife that if she can't rant at me, the closest person to her in this world, the one most loving and accepting of her as she is, who else could she rant to? I hope T takes a similar attitude.
