... the unappetizing kind.
Mella posted about her post-baby (x2!) belly, and other women have followed suit. I'm joining in even though I know that what I'm posting is not pretty. I've been meaning to blog about my stretch marks for a while because, while they have dramatically altered the surface of my once smooth tummy, and while I'll most likely never wear a two-piece bathing suit again...
... they are an ever-lasting reminder of my greatest accomplishment. Her:
that I wear my stretch marks with pride.

personally... i think that there tummy might be the 2nd most beautiful thing i've ever seen (that little thing below it being #1).
there is nothing more sexy than being a good mom. and that includes everything that comes with it. stretchmarks and all.
it's hard to adjust to change sometimes, and little nudges in the right direction go a looong way in helping accept the change.
starz: your comment made my day. no, my week... nooo... more like my freakin' millenium!!! (humongous hugs!)
ghost: amen and thank you. big hugs to you, too. :)
that there is a good reason for me to stop snivelling about my stretch marks. she really is beautiful...
Your tummy and baby are both beautiful - actually, the marks left behind look like almost like a frame, showcasing the most beautiful spot, where LB lived.
