My dad's in surgery today. I'm off to spend the day at the hospital. He's getting a growth removed from the side of his face, by his jaw. Today will be the second time in my life that I'll see him without a beard.
In other news, some days are just achey, sad days and there's not a thing I can do about it... I just wallow.
And sometimes, I wonder....

good luck for your dad!
Wallow time means it is ice cream time. Have some ice cream, pick your favourite flavour.
what do you wonder, phx?
Hope your dad's surgery went well. Wallowing with chocolate is very therapeutic.
Wishing the best for your dad (and you!).
For me, parents having surgery is like having the universe shout, "Hey, your parents are mortal, and therefore you are mortal." It sucks. I hope your dad is doing fine.
How's your pop?
I hope things are going well, though I can't imagine how that's *possible* when its negative eleventy billion degrees up there.
honestly, I don't know how you people do it. :)
::Big Hug:: too. . . and you know its good, because everything's bigger in Texas.
thanks for the good wishes. everything worked out fine..
ghost.. i honestly don't remember... but it might have had something to do with a dream i had--one of those horrid ones where you wake up thinking you are with someone else.
