Somebody wonderful sent Lily something wonderful:
A Link-a-doos bouncer! Moi heard me complaining about having to swing Lily in her car seat to help her fall asleep--and sent this chair as the perfect alternative. Now all I have to do is tap my pinkie toe on the frame of the chair and it gently bounces Lily off to dreamland.
And it's got a vibrating function too, to mimic a car ride. I haven't tried that yet--going out for batteries seems like a major undertaking--but she always passes out in car rides, unless she's hungry, so that should work like a charm when my pinkie toe gets tired.
(Now awaiting shenry's response to the vibrat-ability of her little chair...)

YAY for happies! The vibrating function is wonderful, especially when she'll have an upset tummy. The sensation really does soothe them.
ive got one of those from brooklyn's days as an infant. i think amy still has cadie's also. our little boy is already neck deep in toys.
Is that the seat that was in the episode of Sex in the City? Samantha was babysitting for Miranda's baby and his seat stopped working and she just happened to have a new vibrator so she put it in the chair with the baby. I had never heard of this seat and now Lily has one!
We've used the same thing for both of our kids with moderate to excellent success. How is she sleeping? How are you sleeping? How is Tomek sleeping?
Wow. I just ordered you guys one of those last night from Amazon.com. Shoot. I guess I better cancel that order... okay, I'm lying. Damn, Moi for making me look like a slacker.
