Fingers crossed for Tomek

I talked to him briefly yesterday and he'd worked from 9 a.m. - 11 p.m. with breaks for meals. He'd come back to his room briefly at 11 to talk to me for a bit and then he was heading back to the warehouse to continue working. It sounded like he was going to work through the night and then catch a few hours of sleep in the morning and keep going.

I know he wants to be done and out of there as soon as he can... but there's an additional pressure on him as well, other than that they are expecting it to be done today/early tomorrow--only two flights come in and out remotely near him each week: one on Thursday, one on Monday. If he doesn't get done and has to miss the flight tomorrow, he won't be able to fly out of there until noon on Monday.

He took time off his work (only this Monday-Thursday) to do this job--he's supposed to be back at work on Friday. I don't know how his boss would take it if he said he needed 2 more days off on such short notice. Plus that's two more days of his holiday time that he's spending working--not cool.

So please send speedy wishes up north to him...
