I've been feeling shy about posting these pictures because they are so personal--full shots of my face, me, and perhaps my family. But I keep looking and looking at them and all the happiness from that day comes flooding back and I can't help but share. The photos from my brother are nearly done--he's been working on them a lot, picking out the nicest ones and giving them a special touch. It's his art, and we are giving him all the time he needs to do the job he feels is the best he can do. But I will share three with you now... two of my favourites, and one just to show that he did, indeed, do it:

This must have been when I said my vows to him in Polish--he read it to me 1-2 words at a time and I repeated it back to him. When I finished, everyone in the church (the majority were Polish) clapped and cheered. I think I got a little embarassed.

The first receiving line. We came back into the church because that's where it was warmest, and all the Polish folk lined up to give us flowers and bear hugs.

The b&w one is my over all favourite too, but these are only 8 of hundreds and hundreds. Probably close to 1000 photos between my brother and Tomek's brother... and my godfather, and anyone else who sends us photos they took. I'll post some more as I get them.

Contrary to popular opinion, my favorite is that picture where you say you were embarrassed. It's a perfect candid shot with the two of you totally happy. I think that picture says everything about you and Tomek. Plus, the picture makes me smile and feel all gooey... and I don't get the goos very easily.
