Yes, that is what my head looks like right now. Tomek (formerly Tom) informed me that he'd really like it if I called him Tomek, which is the Polish version of Tommy. It looks a lot nicer written, and it does sound nicer than just Tom, but the O is a pain in the ass. It's kinda like the O in toe and the O in got, but it's inbetween the two. Kinda like you start with the O in got and then move to the O in toe, but quick, cuz it's only one sound.
Does it sound like I've overthunk this?
All his Polish buddies (well most) and his parents call him Tomek and Tomek's abound elsewhere too, because Tomasz (Thomas) is a pretty common name, so I've had a lot a lot of time hearing it over and over again, but saying it to him and saying it right is another thing. I feel silly because it's a new sound and I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing it just right and I don't want to have an accent saying his name at all... gah!
And that's probably the name he'll go by in our vows, etc.

I'm going to tell Silver that I'd really like it if she actually called me "shenry." Oh, she'll laugh and then punch me in the gut.
hehe, two comments by Shenry = 2 chuckles for Phx.
You rock.
So last night I told Silver that I wanted to be called "shenry" and she replied:
I'm not calling you "shenry." I will, however, call you "fucktard" if you persist with this subject.
I thought you'd appreciate the conclusion.
