Last night I was in bed when Tom came home—he worked 7:30am-10:00pm yesterday, poor guy. Soon after he came home, I got some crazy tickle in my chest and couldn't stop coughing. He came in and asked me if there was anything he could get me. He suggested hot tea at that sounded soothing to me. He made me a cup of lemon zinger and put it on the night table. I tried sipping it once, but it was hot, so I laid back again to wait till it was cooler. And I fell fast asleep. No more coughing.
Tom said this morning that I stopped coughing almost as soon as he put the water on to boil. We're wondering if it was some psychological thing—I knew a remedy was coming, so I relaxed, felt more comfortable… and dozed right off.

that's so sweet. eventhough he was tired, he tried to comfort you. better marry tom, he sounds like a keeper!
