Guess who's back? Back again... Phx's back...

I made a terrifically yummy casserole last night, and we heated that for din din, and steamed some broccoli. Accompanied by a glass of white wine (which I drank straight with no gagging), I got my Scrabble form back. *grins*

I was leading at first, then Tom was leading, then I took the lead again--I think the highest point word goes to him "quack" and of course he put's the Q on a triple letter square. But I fought back with "knead" and added "moo" to his "red".

(Hm... maybe it was the wicked dessert I whipped up that did him in. I'll have to remember that: mango frozen yogurt, chocolate freeze squirty stuff, some whipped cream, gummi fruits and a Chinese cookie.)

So, yes, I got my Scrabble back. Lucky for Tom. Because if I'd lost, he definitely wouldn't be getting any tonight. My competitive-sore-loser streak would have been shining through and no amount of teasing or stroking would have done any good (but now that I'm thinking about it, maybe it would've).

Ooh, and I get points for that lame ass "the" in the top-right... the H is on a triple letter square. And that was at the end of the game when we were trying to get rid of our tiles first. I got rid of mine first, with an "eg" to make leg and then my last "e" was put down to make "en" which is half the width of an "em" if you didn't know... and it's also the letter.

Quote of the game goes to Tom, said outloud to himself while looking for a word to put down:

...That's not a real word. Plus, it's spelled differently.

Final score:
Boo-ya!

Are you sure he didn't let you win? I mean, us guys can tell when poon is on the line. I've thrown many a Soul Caliber match because I could tell Silver was getting aggravated.
