So much more

I’m feeling as distant as I’ve ever felt. Relationships have no meaning. My life has no meaning. I’m just one more here who won’t be in a while. I don’t know how to pursue my passions anymore; how to help others; make a difference; be happy.

My soul is in turmoil, but my head is empty.

We were meant to live for so much more...

Your life does have meaning!!!!!!

When I read about you are upset because you feel you aren't doing enough for others, it makes me realize how self-centered I am at times. I'm upset because I lost a guy who drives a beat-up Nissan with flames painted on it and 'woof woof' wrote on the back??? How paltry is that compared to the woes of the world? Your words make think about things and to perhaps be a better person. Don't ever think you have no meaning!

Hugs!!!!

I agree with Raven whole-heartedly. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would much rather make a difference in the lives of those I love than to make a difference on a municipal or national level.

Pursue your dreams, for sure - Don't ever give up. But don't sacrefice someone you love in order to do so. Because in the long run it the people and not the experiences that enrich our lives more.

Maybe you're just like me - You need something in your life that you can be excited about. I am a much happier person when I have something on the go - Something I can look forward to every week.

You make a difference in my life - You're my very first online girl friend!

*hanging my head in shame*

Thanks you guys... you are all right of course. My life does have meaning. And bringing in happiness to those I love is more rewarding than any work I could do. I'm glad I can make you guys feel better sometimes. :) You all do the same for me. Phoe and I have so many parallels in our lives right now, and Mindy and Raven *shakes head*--well, the wild escapades of you two Southern gals... very entertaining :D

Phoe, you are so right about needing something that excites me. I'm really enjoying softball but I think I need to get back into the arts like you are. :)

I wish where Phoe and I are was closer to Kentucky. It makes me smile to imagine what the four of us together would be like. :)

I guess I got in late here...

My guess is that you simply aren't eating enough ice cream.
