It's time for a MEME

And I pronounce it ME-ME. So there.

I'm sure this one is out there somewhere already, but I haven't seen it. All you have to do is think of 26 somewhat (or not at all) interesting things about you, each one containing a word that starts with each letter of the alphabet. :) And you don't have to tag anyone at the end. Whoever is going to give it a go, let me know.

Here goes:

In high school I was very athletic.

My sport of choice was basketball. (I led my varsity high school team in points in my junior year. :)

I can make some kick-ass chocolate chip cookies, but not really any other desserts.

I drive a Jetta. It's my second one. I love VWs. My hubby can't stand them.

Most days my (yet to be pursued) career of choice is an editor.

I've learned from my hubby just how versatile the word f*ck is.

I did not graduate from high school in the traditional sense. Yet, I do have a high school diploma, not a g.e.d.

It was in high school that I discovered I like to write... and sometimes I'm good at it.

I've driven on the I-5 quite a bit.

I am Jelly Belly fiend.

The word karpatka just popped into my head but I forget what it means.

I'm a lefty.

I have a shitty long-term memory. Sometimes it worries me just how little I remember, especially since my husband's memory of his childhood is incredible and he's smoked a bit of pot in his day. I've never smoked it.

I've never shaken the deep feeling that I need to be with someone else.

I lived in Oregon from age 16-21.

I found out only recently that my paternal grandparents were born in Poland, not Germany.

I don't know if Quasimodo ended up with the woman he loved.

I raced a guy once when our lanes were merging--he would have gone into the guard rail if I hadn't let him win. That cured me of my "need for speed" pretty quick.

I have a couple thousand stamps in my mostly unorganized stamp collection.
