they say no news is good news

So would a doctor be calling me into the office to go over the results of the ultrasound just to tell me everything is fine?

Evidently not. The walk-in clinic I originally went to got my ultrasound results and called me because the doctor there wanted to go over the results with me. Red flag, right away. I told them I was with the maternity centre, so the clinic told me to call the centre and see if they had the results. The centre didn't, but the got the results faxed to me and called me back.

The baby is fine. Growth is good, no abnormalities.

My placenta is not fine. They aren't 100% sure (for reasons I don't know since my ultrasound was an hour long), but it looks like my placenta is covering my cervix. That's nothing dangerous in itself... it just means that I have to have another ultrasound between 28-32 weeks and if the placenta hasn't moved, I'll be having a c-section.

There is a chance the placenta is beside my cervix, but in order to safely have a natural delivery, it has to be at least 2cm completely away from the cervix.

So tomorrow we're going to the doctor tomorrow at 2:30 to go over the results in more detail and to see if she wants to refer me to an obstetrician now or after the ultrasound in 10 weeks.

And I'm remembering the dreams and the trouble sleeping I've been having for the last two nights, and the only things I can remember from the dreams are my babies... and knives.

Well, I hope both of you end up in good health when all of this pre-natal phase is done with.

they say a c section is actually easier on the body than natural birth. i dont know how thats possible personally but im a male so what the hell would i know about pregnancy.

I'm glad there's a solution for everything that's going on.

And Ghost is right. . . I was born by emergency C-section, and my mom liked it so much better than that whole "labor" thing that she scheduled a c-section for my brother. :)

Hopefully everything will work out!

Oh, and pictures of the apartment are coming soonish, BUT I have to get everything in place.

the paint job looks GREAT though.
