There really is nothing sweeter than walking in to my own home after 24 hours of travel which included 3 flights (1 hour, 8 hours, 5 hours), 7 hours of layover, and unexpectedly leaving my husband behind in Germany and traveling nearly 1/2 way around the world on my own with LB.
But I made it.
LB is stunned from jet lag, I'm feeling pretty good. We pick up Tomek from the airport in 2 hours. That's all I can think about.

You're HOME!
:)
I'm surprised at myself how much I've missed our chats.
I'm glad you're home safe, and I look forward to hearing your tales of travel!
Welcome back, it sounds like you survived without too much damage. I don't get why Tomek gets home after you and LB, but whatever, at least you're back home now.
He wasn't allowed to leave Germany because he didn't have a Canadian passport. 2 years ago we traveled to Spain and he had his Polish passport and Cdn citizenship documents and that was enough to get everywhere and back w/o a hitch. Germany was different. He had to spend the night there after running around to get an emergency Cdn passport. But he did it, and it wasn't any huge extra cost to rebook a flight. He was actually lucky, he got to fly straight from Germany to Vancouver, no 5 hour layover in Toronto like I had with LB.
Welcome back!
I'm so glad you made it back safe and sound!
welcome back sis.
