spinning, twirling, and not in a good way

Hey, yeah, I really am here... just now that I'm better I'm busy getting back to my old routine: laundry, dishes, walk, feed, nap, play, repeat.

My mouth is almost completely healed now, although every now and then I chomp down on this bit of stitch that is still hanging around in the right side of my mouth. Yuck. Disolvable stitches my ass.

So, my teeth came out Thursday, and I was in bed with an ice pack and some Tylenol 3s. Friday, Tomek had to work, so his mom came and took care of LB while I rested again. I didn't feel too badly. I think I overdid the activity on the weekend, even though we only went out once. Monday I was horribly dizzy and faint, but Tomek was at work, so I sucked it up... for 2 hours. He came home at 1 p.m. but said he had to go back to do some other work at 3 p.m. By 3 p.m. it was obvious I wasn't going to be able to move from the bed, or do anything other than clutch my pillow to somehow not spin off the face of the earth. I am pretty sure now it's because of the Tylenol. I don't normally take that crap, and I must have been taking it too frequently, even though I was well within the bounds of what is advised on the bottle.

Tuesday was more of the same, and worse. I couldn't keep things down, I was in pain and dizzy and had no idea how to make myself feel better. I had a prescription for an antibiotic in case of infection, but I wasn't going to take it unless someone TOLD me I had an infection. And I didn't think adding it to the nutritionless mix in my body was going to help. So at 10 p.m. we went to the hospital. We only had to wait 45 minutes to get me into a bed. Longest 45 minutes of my life. Sitting up has never been so hard to do. I got some bloodwork done and an IV with some gravol and a painkiller... I rested there for 5 hours and the doctor sent me home. No idea what was going on... but Wednesday I felt MUCH better. Was up for most of the day, and Thursday Tomek went back to work and I had a pretty good day with only a few dizzy spells.

Today I'm still feeling a bit woozy but I just have to keep eating and drinking lots and I should be fine.

I have been doing a lot of thinking about a career for myself, because I see so many people my age and younger who are so skilled and talented and working jobs they love and I want that, too. More on this to come... gotta feed the Bean.
