Courted

Not the good kind.

My day in court is next Wednesday. I need to be there at 9 a.m. and they have a lot of witnesses and don't know the order in which we will all be called, so I may be there till 4 p.m.

Tom's mom is going to be here with LB for the day. We visited them the past two evenings and she's really starting to form a bond with Tom's mom. I left them alone for a while and it was ok. So now as long as she doesn't give LB something to eat that I don't want her to, we'll be fine.

This will be the longest I've spent away from LB, ever. The longest thus far was 3 hours at a Canucks game (it was boring and they lost). I don't want to be away from her for the day. Especially not since I'll just be sitting on my ass being nervous. And reading Shantaram if I can concentrate.

Sigh.
