There is something thoroughly heart wrenching about talking to your little (19 yr old) brother on the phone night after night and hearing him fighting back tears... and being too far away to do anything or say anything comforting.
I'm in BC, he's in Louisiana... his girlfriend is in Pakistan mourning the death of a friend, and at the same time pissed of at him because he didn't or couldn't comfort her in the way she wanted or needed. I don't know the details. But I want to send him a "chins up, little bro" package. Any thoughts on what should go in it?
