I'm back

LB and I spent 4 days up in the hills of K-town at my parents' new house this past week. It was supposed to be relaxing and a chance for Tomek to get stuff done and a chance for my parents to spend time with LB.

It was mostly a success--Tomek got his car fixed, only to have something else on it break down on Monday morning, LB got re-acquainted with her Gran and Grandpa and at the end of the visit she actually got excited when she saw my dad walking up the stairs towards her. My dad is not very effusive in that baby way that people get when they try to make a kid smile or laugh. Instead, he hangs her upsidedown and lets her grab his beard and whack magnets off the fridge. I'll have pics up one her blog in the next few days.

Now I'm off to clean like a mad thing because Tomek's parents are coming for a visit tonight. The apartment kind of imploded when we came home... sigh.
