Much too much

How crazy would it sound if I said that in addition to being about three weeks away from welcoming the newest member of our family into the world, we made an offer on a condo, it was approved at slightly under original asking price and we now have until Friday to remove all the subjects and get finance approval and we could be taking possession of the condo on July 20th and we are toying with the idea of moving before LB arrives?

And I thought going through the first trimester of pregnancy while planning and pulling off our wedding was crazy.

!!

We are going for it. Totally and completely. We have almost no time... 3 1/2 days to be exact... I think contractually we do have longer, but our realtor is going out of town in 2 1/2 days and next monday Tomek is going way far north to work for 4 days.

So all the signature-type stuff needs to be a done deal before either one of them leaves.

Since Tomek is working full-time still and I am not (yee-haw!), most of the document collecting, and calling of people to find out what the heck we're supposed to be doing exactly is.. my job. Run run run. No rest for this preggo. Maybe next week.

And I woke up this morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Dammit. Honey and lemon.. mmm.

Blogging is probably going to be insanely sporadic now--did I mention that I have not applied for my employment insurance yet?! SHIT. I tried to online but now it looks like it would be easier to do in person because of all the questions I have, but maybe I should just give it my best shot online and let them call me if they have any problems.

Ok, going to take a nap while I wait for our realtor to call...

Good god, woman. You two (three) are so insane that you appear genius. Seriously, why not cram two of life's biggest changes into one month? But it's like hitting reset on your life. Once you stabilize, you'll better off for it. Good luck. You guys are so insane that you app

thanks guys! :) biting off the big bite is the way to go.. at least, neither of us have self-combusted yet. And shenry, I'll take insanity as a compliment. ;) it's funny how these big changes seem to come all at once for us. But we can't pass this up. Real estate here is INSANE. newer buildings are built shoddily (as tomek could lengthily testify to) and units in those buildings are getting snapped up before the building is even remotely up. And places that are already built are mostly gone by the time we inquire to see if we can view them. So when we found this one, and (fingers crossed re: the inspection) it seems to be in good condition, the buyer is gung-ho to move (she bought the place for 78 gs 17 years ago... we are paying 2 1/2 times that much now!), we aren't competing with anyone else, it's within our price range... we knew it was something we had to jump on. Boing boing.
