In three hours Tomek should be on his way to Smithers where he will hopefully catch a 4:30 flight back down here. I talked to him briefly online last night, and he's basically been working around the clock except for a few hours taken to sleep in the morning and breaks for quick meals. I bet he's pulling 18+ hours a day in that warehouse. I don't know how he keeps going at that pace, but I do know he really wants to be done today and not have to sit up there twiddling his thumbs till Monday.
My mom is driving up here as I type and I'm finding it so hard to get going on dishes and cleaning up after Tomek's surprise party on Saturday. Ugh. I totally get now why little cleaning got done each weekend I was away in Oregon and Tomek was here alone. There's just no motivation when I'm on my own. Pfft. But somehow it will get done, and today I definitely have motivation since my mom is going to be here in 5 hours or so.
And you know what TV show is MILES more entertaining than Canadian or American Idol?

I think the girl who is Ivan's partner is my favourite. I can't remember her name, but she seems the most versatile of the lot. And so cute. :)
