i was there but i dont remember that comment. maybe because i'm half deaf...
when plumbers solder pipes together, some of the melted solder drips from the pipe and falls on whatever is under it, splashing a bit like water. solder melts at a relatively low temperature, and cools quickly, so small droplets falling on skin wouldnt do anything, and bigger ones might give you burns like hot water.
