my mom and i had a conversation about marriage etc after dinner when all the boys were gone--i realize i'm feeling a bit uneasy about it because of all the fucked up situations i'm hearing about, with marriages dying early on, and such. i think our relationship is very good compared to most i see. So thank you. for being the you that fell in love with me.

Awww, that's sooo sweet!
It is amazing that I am reading this on the date that is my sixth wedding anniversary. My wife and I got married October 9th, 1999, and we're still going strong. Not every marriage out there is doomed for failure. Open communication I think is the biggest key.

I agree with Phil. My wife and I have been married for 5 years, and talking, especially when you're pissed at each other is the key. Don't keep things bottled up, hoping you'll get over it; that always comes back to bite you in the butt.
