Okay, so maybe it's PMS, and maybe not. But I really really really want to spend some time with Tom. And not just time where we are together in the apartment doing our thing--but time like last weekend where we sat down with some good food and a board game, or even going for a walk, doing a crossword puzzle... anything.
Monday I guess we could have had time, Tuesday I tutored and he was at his parents, Wednesday I went to the chiropractor and then to a meeting and didn' t get home till after 8 at which point I showered and went to bed. I cancelled my dentist appointment for tonight, thus freeing up my evening to rest, and I thought I'd be resting with him. But he's decided to blitz a bunch of tv-selling stores tonight and find the best one for our price range based on what we watch most (movies... or we would, if we had a working tv). So he'll be gone all evening while I'm finally home. Tomorrow I drive South for the long weekend and he's decided not to come although of course he was invited. He wants to work on his car and catch up on other stuff. Which I totally understand. But then I'm going to get back late Monday night... and another work week begins.
Fuck.

Maybe you should kidnap Tom and take him with you anyway. At first he'll be mad at you, but then he'll have no choice but to resign himself to enjoying the weekend.

I dunno...it's difficult for me to understand because I know people have other things to do....but when you're with someone who you really Are With, then surely everything else falls into place around the "us" time.
That's how I see it anyway, just my opinion.

Iri-yep we bought a nice tube flat screen sony tv. 27". It looks pretty snazzy. now we can watch movies again! yay!
