Who needs drugs when you can just not sleep...

At Starbucks this morning it was so cold that I felt like I was on speed. Tom thinks they keep the temperature so cold to keep the employees awake.

In this place, over 50% of drivers brake for green lights. But I can't say anymore or I'll probably say something that sounds racist.

And last night Tom and I dropped gp off at the gpsitters and we saw her huge rabbit. Her huge, horny, male rabbit. I told Tom that if we get Spanky back and he's pregnant I'm not going to be happy. He said Yeah picture the little guy looking up at you with those dark eyes, saying "Do you know what was done to me?"

Her boyfriend is buying a barbacue but she doesn't know when because she "just cleans". They just moved in together last week. So Tom was like Awww.... I can just picture him with an ay-PRAWN on. I was thinking about it this morning and (he mispronounces words because he's an ETL if you were wondering) I got the picture of this guy with a prawn sticking out of his belly button waving his little feets at me.

And this morning when I was telling Tom all this, he was taking turns fast in his T (I call it a T becaus it's only really 1/5 of a Talon... but it still is pretty nice)

And I shit you not, I just plucked this image off off google images searching for "eagle talon" and I know EXACTLY where this picture was taking--the city, and the mall parking lot. Freaky.

So anyway he was taking fast turns so everytime he turned I went eeeeee-ee-eee-eeee like R2-D2.

And he took this one corner and this guy was on the corner and it reminded me of a time I saw a guy walk off that corner, after picking up a big dead rat off the sidewalk. He deposited it on the median.

Eeeeeeeeeeeew.

And when I was younger I used to sit in a chair at my parents' dining room table and think I will never be in this point of time again... or this one... or this one and I did it until I could feel Time rolling over me in waves. It didn't slow down, but it definitely became tangible. Weird.

* * *

I just got the okay to leave 1 hour early so I can leave when Tom gets off work because we have to take both our cars out to his parents' place to leave them there because it's a safer neighbourhood than ours and then we will drive with them back.... but it's going to be like a huge ass long rush hour drive... and we have to be there by 5: 30....so I told the woman I work under after I got permission and she sits there in her seat shaking her head and twitching importantly saying No way there's no way you'll even make it out there by 6 no way rushour is horrendous you'll never make it and you have to be back to the airport at least 3 hours before your flight? It's not going to happen... etc etc etc.

Can I have some freakin' optimism please?! Sheesh.

This isn't really optimism I suppose but I will share a funny...The Pear ordered lunch and campus police arrested the delivery guy for drunk driving! Things can always be worse :)

Have a safe and fun trip and don't drink and drive LOL.

What's an ETL, if you don't mind me asking?

Hehehe that's hilarious Mindy!! I don't think I'll be doing ANY driving... since most of the cars are 5-speed. *blush*

Bed shaped--good question! It's like ESL only English is his third language. :)
