Thank you Raven!!

I just had a wonderfully soothing msn conversation with Raven and she helped me put everything into perspective. I wish she and I lived closer to each other--I think we would (and will be!) great friends.

That said, I feel like the arguing that has been going on between me and Tom is really trivial and mostly stress-related because of our fast-approaching trip. But I still don't feel like being the one to initiate a make out up session conversation.

And I don't know what exactly is going through his head... other than his most recent post, which I have yet to wrap my head around.

4:14 p.m. update: Raven must be my lucky charm!

A few minutes after our conversation ended, the President called me into his office (minutes before he left on his month-long vacation), told me he accepted my counter offer, and told me about the new business the company was taking on locally and that he wanted me to be in charge of it! I'm sure I'll be "in charge" under the Marketing Director, but still.. I'm officially hired!!

And Tom stopped by and congratulated me... his hugs are the best. He's taking me out to celebrate tonight! *Happy dance*
