Nothing like a little pressure

Tom and I visited his parents last night, and they told us that they'd spoken to both of their mothers. One of Tom's grandmothers (who lives in Poland and is, I believe, in her late 70s or early 80s) told them to pass this message on to Tom (and me):

When you two get married and have your first child, I will come to Canada to visit.

That's no small feat for an elderly woman! And no small feat for us either...
