Why did the comment about my car not having a sunroof piss me off? I don’t know. Probably because I’m a whacked-out, hormonal female.
I got my car back last night, but now I’m faced with some major store-hoping tonight as a sales rep—in rush hour. And the stores are as far apart as they can be. Then I have to go to a shipping centre and ship orders… so I probably won’t get back home till 8 or 9 p.m.
And I still have to get birthday stuff for my sibling and fathers day stuff for my dad, pack to go down there, get to the bank… and Thursday night is totally out of the question because we already agreed to play badminton and visit with a friend of tom’s… and go out for drinks afterwards. That was the one thing this week I was looking forward to (other than the softball game on Monday).
And now, Friday before driving down we have to drive out into the boonies and visit his parents for a belated fathers’ day celebration. BEFORE we drive down. And they know we are driving down. This is going to delay our drive by at least an hour and a half. I think it’s totally unreasonable…they see him way more than I see my family…and…
MY FAMILY COUNTS TOO!!!!!! GRRRRR….

When Silver starts acting spastic, I clandestinely check her birth control pills... 9 out of 10 times Aunt Flow is planning a visit.
For sure there are moments in everyone's life where they can very accurately and emphatically say "Life Sucks!". Now appears to be one of those moments for you, hormones or not.
What I have learned to do is to change my perspective - how does the next day or two really impact the entirety of your life time? Does it really matter an iota that you'll be leaving 90 minutes later when 30 years from now this weekend will be but a scant blur?
My PMS moodswings used to be really bad but I think The Pill helps tremendously. My last crazy episode was in April when D was here. On the Friday that I was supposed to see him, I was just pissed off at the world when I should have been happy. It happens and it's ok.
Thanks Raven, I will. :)
Ooh very clever, Shenry. :) Poor Tom, doesn't have the pill count to help him out... he actually told me a couple of months ago that I go up-down-up-doooown-uuuup or some other combination, and THEN I get the visit. And he wasn't kidding.
You're right Phil, but I'm a control freak sometimes. And I really want this visit to be great because I hardly ever get to see my family.
Mindy--I hear a lot that the pill straigtens people out. That is good news. I'm not going to go on it, but from now on I can blame my mood swings on the fact that I'm NOT on it... or is that hypocritical? ;)
